Bolivia is a beautiful and geographically diverse country in the heart of South America. It is surrounded by Brazil to the northeast, Peru to the northwest, Chile to the southwest, Argentina and Paraguay to the south.
It is also sometimes referred to as the Tibet of the Americas. It is also the most indigenous country in the Americas, with around 60% of its population being of pure Native American ancestry.
An enormous diversity of ecological zones are represented within Bolivia .The Western highlands of the Country are located in the Andes Mountains and include the Bolivian Altipano whereas Eastern Lowlands include the Amazon rainforests.
The major cities are La Paz, Cochabamba and Santa Cruz de la Sierra.
We provide a wide range of Volunteering Programs and Spanish Classes in Cochabamba , the third largest city of Bolivia. Like many other large cities, it consists of two different populations. Downtown Cochacamba is quite modern with high rise buildings and open air cafes. On the other hand, in the suburbs of the city the neighbourhoods are poor where people live in half built adobe homes.
