There is a lot to see and do in Ghana, but the fact that their people and their friendliness will linger on in your minds after you have left this incredible country!
Today, Ghana is one of the first destinations several tourists to Africa want to visit. With an average of over 300,000 visitors each year recorded in the mid-nineties, the developing tourism infrastructure and investment opportunities are attracting more visitors into the country with a record number of nearly half a million in 2005. A lot of these people are volunteers, who are going to Ghana to help in various different ways. Volunteering Solutions provides various volunteer work options in Ghana. Volunteers can teach English, volunteer in an orphanage, work in HIV/AIDS volunteer programs, volunteer in health clinics, development projects, volunteers in sports programs and also in journalism which are available on request.

Volunteer Ghana Programs 2009 - 2010
		Volunteer in Ghana at an orphanage to help and support children in need. We work with orphanages around around Tamale, Volta and Kumasi regions of Ghana. Here there is a real need for volunteers to come and help in the community and for the children to have a better life.
		Volunteer Teaching English in Ghana. the aim of this project is to educate and help children living of the streets and usualy are subject to no education. the Ngo's work for the upliftment of these children and volunteers help in educating these children while teaching in Schools.
		Volunteer Journalism in Ghana the program allows students and people to intern in journalism programs in Ghana. You would have the choice of working in TV, Radio or newspaper in Ghana.
		Volunteer Health/HIV Program in Ghana, the program aims to help the poor and provide basic healthcare facilities to them in Ghana. As a volunteer you would work in camps, clinic and hospitals to help and support the needy while working along doctors and nurses. Students are welcome to join this program in Ghana.
