Volunteering Solutions brings you a chance to experience life in rural India, while volunteering in Jaipur, Udaipur- Rajasthan or in Dharamshala / Palampur in Himachal Pardesh in the north. Volunteer with children, see Taj Mahal, Ride a Camel and go see Rajasthan's historic sites or go see Dalai Lama's home and help in the scenic town surrounded by Himalayas.
We partner with local NGO's, which are active in a remote area of rural Rajasthan through our rural project. This village is situated in the District Jaipur in the State Rajasthan. We aim at serving the underprivileged and marginalized children of the rural community by creating educational programs with international volunteers, local NGO’s and local people working together. We want to narrow the gap between rich and poor by educating the people of the rural Rajasthan. Our project reaches out to help the poor in increasing the learning and knowledge with the help of modern information technology and by inviting international volunteers to Rajasthan.

-
Volunteers will teach the children in school mental mathematics and English.

Our volunteers will help emphasize the importance of attendance at school to the students and their families, to improve overall interest in education and reduce the drop out rate.
-
For healthier and hygienic living, volunteers will inform the child and their parents about health needs and assist the government bodies to maintain the clean and green environment.
Child Care Work
In the rural areas, early childhood care and education are extremely important. This job is traditionally done by local childcare centers called “Anganwari,” but they need help. Our aim is to support these local bodies to promote and maintain the holistic childcare in the area. For this project, the volunteer activities include:
-
Ensuring attendance by the children of the area to these centers.
-
Keeping the parents informed about the activities their children are doing at the centre.
-
Assist the local bodies in keeping record of each child based on health, vaccination, growth and nutritional condition.
-
Help, prepare and, serve nutritious meals for the children everyday with the help of a local worker.
-
Create a fun, colorful, “Play Way” environment for the children through games, stories and other creative activities.
