..Saurabh - Executive Director
Saurabh is the Executive Director and Founder of VS.He has travelled extensively around to over 22 countries across the world including Australia, South East Asia, Africa, South America, US and Canada. After studying abroad for over 6 years he came to India and got actively involved with non government organizations in India, after which he founded Volunteering Solutions in late 2006. Since then he plays a major role in the working of the company. He is also responsible for visiting program coordinators around the world and visiting projects to make sure volunteers are happy on their trip. Sahil - Operations Head
Sahil was born in Delhi and graduated from Delhi University with a Bachelor in Commerce (Hons). After graduating, he worked with Fluor Daniel India after which he joined Volunteering Solutions in 2008.In 2010, he completed his MBA from Stratford University. Sahil coordinates all the volunteer placements around the world, supervises the volunteer preparation and is also responsible for monitoring the projects around the world. He spends most of his time working in tandem with the project partners and staff all across the world.He has himself travelled across different program countries and is happy to answer any questions that volunteers have.
Sunny - Programs Coordinator
Sunny was born in Gurgaon, India.He joined our organisation after completing his Masters in Business Administration in International Business from Western International University - Arizona. He brings with him an experience of six years.He represented Haryana and North Zone at National Levels in Cricket He is mainly responsible for handling any volunteer queries regarding our volunteer programs.
Mukesh - Senior Web Developer
Mukesh Kumar has been working with Volunteering Solutions since May 2008. He has done Masters in Computer Application from Delhi and is responsible for Programing and upkeep of our website. Mukesh works along with a team of two other programming and designing staff at the office. If you would like to contact him regarding the functionality of our website.
Vijay - Web Designer and Front End Developer
Vijay has been working with us since 2009 and is responsible for all designing and layout of the website. He is pursuing his Masters in Computer Application while working with us. He is a quick learner and is always open to new ideas. If there is something you would like to be changed in the look of our website he would be happy to address your issues.
Rajiv - Country Director - India
Rajiv is a post graduate in English and a former lecturer in University. He has been working with International Volunteers for over 5 years now. He has vast experience and knowledge of working with over 1000 volunteers in India. He has also travelled to US, UK and Canada and he understands the western culture very well. He has vast knowledge of Indian culture, history and his city Delhi. He looks forward to meeting you and helping you with your stay in Delhi.
Yogen - Programs Coordinator - Delhi
Yogen is a 25 year old young graduate from IGNO University New Delhi . He has rich experience of working with various NGO’s in Delhi and also worked as a teacher in dramatics. He handles the co-ordination work of our international volunteers with maturity and dexterity. He has keen interest in music, plays guitar and helps volunteers in settling down in their projects. He makes volunteers comfortable with kids in childcare projects and helps in developing good rapport with them.
Dheeraj - Assistant Coordinator- Delhi Program
Dheeraj was born in Delhi and is well verse with the different parts of it. He is mainly responsible for the administration jobs, airport pickups and city tours. He is a person with a charming nature and always has a smile on his face, this is why volunteers love to be with him. He would go out of the way to make your trip to Delhi a wonderful experience!
Bobby - Program Coordinator - Palampur, India
Bobby has been living in Palampur since birth. He is well versed with Palampur and area around Himachal Pradesh. He has been working with Volunteering Solutions since late 2007. He looks forward to meeting you and making your stay in Palampur a memorable one. Outside work, he loves to go on weekend trips and trekking along with the volunteers and spending time with his kids.
Amit - Asst Program Coordinator - Palampur, India
Amit has been working with Volunteering Solutions since late 2007.He is also a physical therapist by profession and an active social worker from last five years. Amit is in charge of all the volunteer administration in Palampur. He takes care of all the logistics for making your trip in Palampur a one you can remember for your lifetime.
Dwarkanath - Program Coordinator - South India Programs
Mr. Dwarakanath hails from Bangalore, Karnataka in south India. He possesses extensive experience working with international volunteers and coordinating volunteer abroad programs. He has been coordinating the programs in Bangalore since 2007. He is responsible for volunteers going to South India, Bangalore, Mysore, Madikeri and more.
Uma - Country Director - Nepal
Uma is a resident of Kathmandu and has been the Country Director of Nepal Programs since 2007. She is also responsible for the management and running of the operations of an orphanage in Nepal. Uma takes care of 9 children, giving them education and a comfortable life. She looks forward to welcoming volunteers in Nepal.
Todd - Program Coordinator - Chiang Mai, Thailand
Todd has been living in Thailand since 2004 but is originally from the US. He recently got married to a Thai girl in Chiang Mai in 2009. He has completed his Bachelors of Arts in Psychology from University of Dayton, Ohio. Todd has volunteered in Thailand and Kyrgyzstan and very well understands the needs and expectations of Volunteers coming to Thailand. He has been working with Volunteering Solutions since 2008.
Malisa - Country Coordinator - China - Beijing
Melissa is based in Beijing and is the main coordinator for us, she picks up the volunteers from the Aiport. She is a nice and friendly person who likes to make friends from all over the world. If you need any help, please feel free to contact her without any hesitation. She is a proud mother of a little child, however will be available any time you need her in Beijing.
Jessie - Program Coordinator - Singapore
Jessie has been working with international students, volunteers and interns for five years. She obtained her Master's degree in Education in the UK and has taught English and Mandarin in primary and secondary schools for 9 years. She loves working with international students, volunteers and interns from all over the world. In her holiday time, she has a great love for travel and has been to France, Holland, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Spain, Canada, USA, South Africa, Norway, Ireland, UK, Morocco, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Brussels and Australia. In free time, she enjoys cooking, dancing, Chinese instrument, golf, table tennis and swimming.
Dora - Program Coordinator - Shanghai - China
For the past three years, Dora worked as a teacher at one of the partner schools in Shanghai. During that time she also served as supervisor for our volunteers at the school. In August of 2011, she left her job at the school and joined us to become program coordinator here at our partner Shanghai office. At present, she is looking after our volunteers and our interns here in China. She loves her new job very much. She likes reading books and newspapers during her spare time. She says that working at with the volunteers makes her feel happy and she is really enjoying her time with us.
Cuong - Program Manager - Vietnam
Cuong was born in 1976 in Viet Tri City, Phu Tho province. He has a master degree in law (state legal management system). He used to be a lecturer in Vietnam National Academy of Politics (School of Journalism and Communication). Cuong has experience in international volunteer exchange and intercultural learning. He has been to around 10 countries around the world and he is really interested in youth development.He has been working with Volunteering Solutions since 2007.
Brem Nhov - Program Coordinator - Cambodia
Brem Nhov was born in Battambong province, the western part of Cambodia, which is the famous rice production. Brem studied Economic Development and I finished my bachelor degree in the middle of 2010. He himself has volunteered at an orphanage in Western Africa. So through your time volunteering here you for sure you will help the local community. His advise to upcoming volunteers is to adobe to the culture and leave Cambodia a better place. Looking forward to serve and welcome you in Cambodia!
Fred - Country Director - Ghana
Fred was born in 1979 in Kumasi in the Ashanti region but grew up in Tamale, in the northern region where he completed his primary education. After completing his college education from Prempeh college in Kumasi, he graduated in National Diploma in Accounting. Fred is very popular among the volunteers and is actively involved in executing different projects for the benefit of Ghanaian community. Besides English, he speaks three local Ghanaian languages very fluently. Fred believes volunteering should make a change in the lives of people who really need help and also makes a great impact of the development of deprived communities.
Joe - Country Director - Kenya
Joe has been working with Volunteering Solutions since the company was established in 2007. He holds a Masters in International Economic Law from University of Warwick , United Kingdom. He coordinates all the arrangements for the volunteers in Kenya to ensure their safe and comfortable stay. He holds a considerable personal volunteering experience in both Kenya and UK. He loves travelling to different parts of Africa, playing tennis and swimming.
Roxanne - Programs Administrator
From the time a volunteer commits to making the trip to South Africa, Roxanne oversees the entire process. She first reviews the original application and profile to determine the best placement to match the volunteers interests, aptitudes, and preferences with corresponding projects and accommodation arrangements. She also checks in with the assistance of the local staff to make sure that the volunteer is situated and is available to advise the volunteer when in the country.
Masimba - Volunteer Coordinator - South Africa
Masimba assists Roxanne in matching volunteers with the best project and accommodation. Masimba also specializes in assisting volunteers get the most out of their stay by helping them arrange overland tours, trips inside of the country, and is an expert advisor on local do's and don'ts.
Charles - Country Coordinator - Tanzania
Born in 1987 at Arusha , Charles belongs to the Maasai tribe. He holds a Degree in law from Makumira University, Advanced Certificate From Moringe high school in Tanzania. He also works as a professional safari operator in Arusha and is also very interested in travelling. He would be happy to arrange a great safari package for you while in Arusha!
Jenny - Program Coordinator - Peru
Jenny is a native of Cusco and has also lived in Arequipa. She has over 6 years of experience dealing with international volunteers in Peru. Jenny has been working with Volunteering Solutions since 2008 and has hosted many happy volunteers in the beautiful country of Peru. Jenny is one of the reasons why volunteers keep going back to Peru!
Hakan - Program Manager - Ecuador
Hakan was born in 1974 and raised in a Swedish working class family. He has always loved to work with his hands and travel to see different countries and cultures. His biggest interests in life are traveling, history, culture, nature, photography but most of all a mix of them together. He has now been working with international volunteers for over 6 years and lives in the capital city of Quito.
Marco - Program Manager - Costa Rica
Marco offers more than sixteen years of experience as a professor of Spanish as a Second Language. Through his professional work he has conducted various Educational workshops in Costa Rica. He received a BA in Tourism with an emphasis in Community Tourism and Development Projects from Universidad Panamericana de Costa Rica, a certification in Human Resource Administration from the National Institute for Learning (INA), studied Language and Culture Facilitation through Peace Corps, Costa Rica. Marco is dedicated to providing exemplary service to every participant.
Manuel - Program Coordinator - Honduras
He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania, U.S.A mastering in the EPFS to be an English teacher in Honduras. Manuel has over 12 years of experience in dealing with international volunteers in Honduras and also providing great Spanish classes to all volunteers.
