What areas did you like about our website?
Good information for volunteers, great overview of Salkantay Trek.

How did you find the pre departure booklet given to you and the service of the staff in regards to answering your questions and helping you prepare?
Very helpful, but a little more warning about the weather would have been nice.

Did you enjoy working at your project / placement?
The school was a bit disorganized, but on the whole was a great experience, and helped me improve as a teacher.

Accommodation and meals
My host family was incredible, caring, fun, and always willing to help. The meals were delicious as well.

Coordinator
Jenny was friendly, accessible, and on the whole very helpful.

What was the highlight of your volunteering experience and your trip?
It was one of the best experiences of my life. Meeting people, the volunteer work, the sites, and the hike were unbelievable, but more than anything the experience of being completely immersed in another culture was one I’ll never forget.

I learned to appreciate my surroundings more, to take in my environment fully. I also appreciated more how small; nice gestures can really alter someone’s life.
