Volunteer Teaching English in Bangkok-Ayutthaya
Volunteering in the Teaching Project in Ayutthaya - Thailand is an incredible way to work along with local Thai people and gain valuable practical work experience in Thailand.Volunteers in this program teach simple conversational English in Primary schools (grade 1-6 or age 5-12) as well as Secondary schools (grade 7 to 12).Volunteers work for about 4-5 hours a day from Monday to Friday.
As a volunteer you need to assess the level of English of the students first before starting teaching, then you can make your mind what to teach and from which level to start. Teaching is, therefore, very flexible and simple. You will be teaching practical conversational English using your own skill or talent e. g. by telling story, playing games, performing drama etc. whatever way you like.
The students are delightful and love to have volunteers in their school. It is a good opportunity for them to practice their English speaking skills with some native speakers of English, which they are usually not used to.
