The aim of this program is to
provide participants in the training program with a more
positive and constructive set of attitudes and
behaviors, together with effective job skills, so that
they can make a contribution to the reconstruction and
development of Cambodian society and the economy. In
this way a segment of Cambodian society will begin to
get back some of the role models that it lost during the
Khmer Rouge regime. Organisation has developed a whole
range of educational and motivational approaches to
address the factors which prevent school dropouts from
creating meaningful lives. The institution offers a
24-month live-in training program organized in four
6-month stages. The first and third stages are conducted
in beginning center . The second and fourth stages are
conducted in main center. In addition there are a
variety of part-time English language and life-skills
courses in the main center
This program is run throughout the
year and is available for minimum 3 weeks. It is located
in the Takeo provice about 90 kms from the main capital
city.
Volunteer’s life on the field
| Once you get over the initial culture shock of coming and working in Cambodia, you will realize that helping the orphans, street children and women will give you immense satisfaction and you will view life with a different perspective. A typical volunteer helping in an orphanage would help the children with their day to day activities such as: doing homework, making notes, playing with children, helping staff organize the orphanage, providing mental and physiological support, exchanging cultural views, teach them about health and hygiene. |

Educational Requirement
There is no educational requirement for this project; anyone with a heart to help is welcome on this project! However proficiency in English is required.
What we provide
Airport Receive/ Transfer: Our representative will greet you at the airport and will transfer you to your hotel/placement/home stay.
Orientation: A week long orientation will be provided by our staff. We cover areas like, culture, greetings, locations, transportation etc. Each participant will be provided with a local Map of the city.*

Lodging: Almost all placements have residential accommodation arrangements, however if that is not available volunteers will be staying with a local welcoming and educated family.
Food: 3 local meals will be provided in this project.
Insurance: All participants are covered for full comprehensive travel and medical insurance for their time of stay in our project. Please find details here.
In – Country travel assistance: If participants like to travel around, we provide with full support for bookings & arrangements to travel within Cambodia.
In-country support: 24 hours support provided by our local staff.
Pre-departure information: After we receive full and final payment all participants are provided by a pre-departure information booklet by e-mail which will have all vital information about your program.

VOLUNTEERS JOINING TEACHING
ENGLISH FOR 12 WEEKS, NEED TO BOOK RETURN FLIGHTS AFTER
13 WEEKS AS ONE SEMESTER INCLUDES 1 WEEK OF HOLIDAYS.
VOLUNTEER WOULD ALSO BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THEIR FOOD
