Volunteering Solutions is active in
running volunteer programs in the urban areas of Jaipur
City. Jaipur is the capital city of Rajasthan.
Volunteering Solutions has started a project here for
needy children and women. In our Jaipur Project we are
involved in two project sites. First is an Orphanage,
Second is a Day Care Center
(Angan Bari Kendra). In the orphanage female volunteers is
able to work and in the Angan Bari Kendra both can
participate. These sites need special attention and there
is not enough manpower and facilities to provide this. It
is our hope and goal to be able to provide sufficient
betterment through this project.
Once you get over the initial
culture shock of coming and working in India, you will
realize that helping the orphans in an orphanage will give you immense satisfaction and you will view life with a different perspective. A typical volunteer helping in an orphanage would help the children with their day to day activities such as: doing homework, making notes, playing with children, helping staff organize the orphanage, providing mental and physiological support, exchanging cultural views, teach them about health and hygiene.
There is no educational requirement for this project; anyone with a heart to help is welcome on this project! However proficiency in English is required.
What we provide
Airport Receive/ Transfer: Our representative will greet you at the airport and will transfer you to your hotel/placement/home stay.
Orientation: A half day orientation will be provided by our staff. We cover areas like, culture, greetings, locations, transportation etc. Each participant will be provided with a local Map of the city.
Lodging: Almost all placements have residential accommodation arrangements, however if that is not available volunteers will be staying with a local welcoming and educated family.
Food: 2 Indian meals will be provided in this project.
Insurance: All participants are covered for full comprehensive travel and medical insurance for their time of stay in our project. Please find details here.
In – Country travel assistance: If participants like to travel around, we provide with full support for bookings & arrangements to travel with India or Nepal.
Language Books: We provide participants with English to Hindi language handbooks.
In-country support: 24 hours support provided by our local staff.
Pre-departure information: After we receive full and final payment all participants are provided by a pre-departure information booklet by e-mail which will have all vital information about your program.

*A non-refundable application fee is charged above this fee for all projects, which includes – advertising, staff salary, communication , administration, application processing and overhead charges) The program fee covers – insurance, food and accommodation, transportation, orientation, in-country support etc.
+ $25 per week is charged extra for Jaipur placements.
