Este programa está diseñado para estudiantes de odontología que tienen buen conocimiento de la odontología y son lo suficientemente seguras como para trabajar en un conjunto rural hacia arriba.
El programa de la Semana 2 está diseñado para dar a las manos dentales completos sobre las oportunidades, así como el sombreado / experiencia ayudando a los estudiantes. La idea del programa es establecer una clínica dental rural en pueblo o la escuela del pueblo y proporcionar exámenes dentales y tratamientos dentales a personas de la comunidad de forma gratuita.
Itinerario básico para el programa es el siguiente: -

Primera semana: Observación / remedo de la Semana
Día 1 - Lunes: Orientación y visita a la ciudad y conocer la zona.
Día 2 - Martes: Visita a la colocación y la observación en varias clínicas privadas y del gobierno comienza.
Día 3 - Miércoles: Una vez más visitar a varias clínicas y observando el trabajo de dentista local e interactuar con ellos.
Día 4 - Jueves: la visita a las clínicas en forma rotativa y tomando notas sobre las diferentes formas de la práctica en la India, que sean distintos a los de vuelta a casa.
Día 5 - Viernes: Igual que el resto de los días.
Día 6 y 7 - fin de semana libre
Día 1 - Lunes: Visita al pueblo donde el campo se creará y la satisfacción de las personas y los organizadores.
Día 2 - Martes: La creación de una clínica y hacer los exámenes y la exploración de los pacientes y dando tratamientos en el mismo día si es posible.
Día 3 - Miércoles: El inicio del tratamiento para los pacientes escaneados y hacer más exámenes para nuevos pacientes.
Día 4 - Jueves: Seguimiento de los pacientes tratados; continuar los tratamientos iniciados en los días previos y los nuevos pacientes.
Día 5 - Viernes: Tratamientos finales, seguimientos y asesora sobre la salud dental y la higiene.

Palampur was breathtaking and the people so warm and friendly. The volunteers house so welcoming and warm . I cannot imagine anything that would have given me more inner peace and delight than being able to wake up everyday and go to the project placement to work with the kids.
I worked at three different placements during my stay in Palampur.Since teaching at the school was my goal in going to India, I enjoyed that the most. My coordinators were absolutely great and made the whole volunteer experience even better than it already was! Gonna miss them :).
