Volunteering Solutions offers this amazing volunteering program which aims to serve food to approximately 50 persons on a daily basis. These people belong to the economically disadvantaged section of society and often come here for their daily meals.
The Community Soup Kitchen Volunteering Program will give you the opportunity to interact with people of all ages, who don't have enough economic strength and mostly rely on these community kitchens for their regular meals.
As a volunteer, it'll be a great learning journey for you, as you'll not only get to cook on a large scale, but also serve food to the hungry and get to know more about them (and their lives). It'll surely be an eye-opening journey for you, and turn you into a more humble & compassionate person. No matter whether you are a high school student or a gap year traveler, you'll surely get to make a difference through your valuable contributions.
As a volunteer for the Soup Kitchen Program, you'll have the following tasks to perform:
Volunteers will work from Monday to Friday between 8 AM to 1 PM mostly. Sometimes, there might be work on Saturdays and Sundays as well, but that's very rare!
On weekdays, you can make good use of the afternoon. You can choose to attend Spanish language classes, or go for a walk along the beachside or just explore Valencia.
You can travel to Granada, Barcelona or Madrid during the weekends. If you wish to try out some adventure sports like skydiving or scuba, then you can go for that as well.
Your volunteering adventure in Spain will only get better with Volunteering Solutions. Like we keep saying, just pack your bags and arrive.

The rooms are well furnished and the apartment has a fully functional kitchen as well. Volunteers who want to cook their own meals can do so.
