Established in 2007 with the aim of changing the face of volunteer travel. In the last 17+ years, more than 25,000 volunteers have completed life-changing journeys with us across the globe.

Volunteering Solutions was established in 2007 with the aim of changing the face of volunteer travel. In the last 17+ years, more than 25,000 volunteers — nicknamed VolSol — have completed life-changing journeys. We provide the best volunteer and intern opportunities to candidates worldwide, ensuring each gets the maximum from the program they choose.
Today we offer programs in 24 countries, with more than 100 volunteering and interning options — from Childcare, Teaching and Medical & Healthcare to Community Development and Marine Conservation. Most of our volunteers are high-school students, couples, corporate groups and individuals on a summer break or gap year.
We work with NGOs, schools, hospitals, orphanages, clinics and women's groups across the globe — organisations working at the grass-root level for years. With a cross-cultural team and dedicated coordinators at every destination, we make volunteer travel smoother, safer and more meaningful.

From one volunteer to thousands
Volunteering Solutions was established with the aim to redefine travelling by narrowing the gap between volunteers and underprivileged communities. The first volunteer was placed under a project in India.
Starting from India and Nepal, VolSol extended worldwide — to Peru, Costa Rica and Ecuador, and African countries like Ghana, South Africa and Tanzania. More volunteers became part of the programs.
VolSol attended the international conference in Spain after becoming a member of the WYSE Travel Confederation — a step ahead in the journey, raising the value of the brand.
VolSol won the prestigious GoAbroad Innovation Award for technological advancement, adding the "My Account" section so participants could manage their trip from any device.
A major milestone — VolSol successfully placed 10,000 volunteers within a span of 8 years.
VolSol completed a decade in the industry. Experience Trips were launched to provide better volunteer travel opportunities.
Expanding our overseas footprint, a UK company and office was established to serve our UK and EU customers.
VolSol became a member of the Year Out Group (YOG) in the UK, an association of approved gap-year organisations.
Launch of Med Trips — our medical internships division. The Impact Explorers Group won the Ethical, Responsible & Sustainable Tourism Award at the British Youth Travel Awards 2025.
