Community Development Programs
Community Development Programs
Do you have a passion for enhancing the quality of life in underprivileged communities globally? Volunteering Solutions provides a variety of Community Development Volunteer Abroad Programs spanning Asia, Africa, Europe, and South America, offering volunteers the opportunity to positively impact the lives of local communities. The best part about the community development programs is that volunteers can take up several different kinds of tasks in one project – teach an English class, help out in a childcare center, take art and painting sessions for students, help with the renovation of a school building, be a part of a disease awareness campaign, assist in administrative tasks amongst other such activities.

What do our past volunteers say?
“My volunteering experience in Morocco was wonderful. I was only for one week and worked at the childcare center with toddlers. Everything was very well organized and with good information. Good co-workers here in Rabat.” – Marianne F, Community Development Program, Morocco
“I have the most positive impressions of the program in Uganda. As a mature volunteer on my first trip to Sub-Saharan Africa, I was a bit concerned beforehand, but I felt supported and safe throughout my journey, both through the Volunteering Solutions Operations Office and the local team. The local coordinators were amazing, and completely dedicated to what they do. The work was fulfilling, varied, and flexible. I learned a lot, through the voluntary projects, our conversations with the local coordinator, and the sightseeing. I recommend this program to any volunteers who wish to contribute to some of the most vulnerable communities, in a location that’s off the beaten track.” – Victoria P, Community Development, Uganda
