Volunteers are generally 17 or older, with selected family and high-school options for under-18s with extra supervision. One-week placements are great for first-timers and those short on time, and most require no prior experience.

You can support ongoing projects such as teaching, childcare or conservation across 23 countries in Asia, Africa, Europe and Latin America. Activities are structured so you can make a focused contribution within a single week.

How much does a one-week program cost?

One-week placements start from around US$250 per week on the most affordable programmes, typically including accommodation, meals, airport pickup and in-country support. Flights, insurance and visas are extra, so check the programme pages for current pricing.
