Together, we move the planet in a positive direction
Since 2007, over 25,000 participants have chosen Volunteering Solutions to make a real difference in communities around the world. We want every past, present, and future participant to recognise they are part of something bigger — a growing community of changemakers building a more secure and sustainable world together.
Each participant's individual contribution builds on the work of those before them — not only providing immediate support to communities in need, but addressing the systemic and structural challenges behind them. The whole truly is greater than the sum of its parts.
Our role is to serve as a platform for collaboration — connecting volunteers, interns, local NGOs, hospitals, schools, conservation teams, and communities across more than 25 countries to combat inequalities around the world. To make progress, we need to come together, recognise our responsibilities in a global community, and take action.

Contributing to the UN Sustainable Development Goals
We are proud to contribute toward 13 of the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals — from No Poverty and Good Health & Wellbeing, to Quality Education, Gender Equality, Climate Action, and Reduced Inequalities. Through our carefully designed volunteer and internship programs, every project plays a vital role in creating long-term, positive change.
