What are the requirements to join a short-term volunteer trip abroad?

  • You must be at least 18 years old when joining the project. (If you are a 16 or 17-year-old high school student, you can get your parent’s permission to join the programs. Alternatively, mentors and teachers can accompany students who are below 18 years old.)
  • You should have an open mind and a flexible attitude towards working in a new environment.
  • You must submit a clean criminal background check report before joining the program.
  • In places where you opt for the medical project (for example, in Tanzania), you should be a medical student or practitioner and provide adequate documents to prove your area of study.
