The Football Coaching Project in Accra is designed to support young, aspiring footballers by providing structured training, mentorship, and a safe, positive environment. Based in a local community, the project focuses on engaging children and youth through sport while fostering personal development both on and off the field.

Volunteers play a vital role in the overall organisation and daily functioning of the project. Beyond football training, the initiative aims to instill values such as teamwork, discipline, and goal-setting. Many of the participants come from under-resourced backgrounds, and the project helps create opportunities while keeping them positively engaged.

By joining, volunteers contribute not only to skill development in football but also to building confidence, character, and a sense of belonging among the players.
