Schools in Peru are in need of English-speaking volunteers to support their existing teaching staff, whose English proficiency may not be advanced.

As a volunteer, you’ll:

  • Assist in teaching 3 classes per day, each lasting 60 minutes, or support the lead teacher during lessons to enhance student learning.

  • Work with students aged 13 to 18, who are grouped by age.

  • Follow a fixed curriculum, with all necessary teaching materials provided by the school’s local teacher coordinator.

  • Have the opportunity to develop your own projects to creatively engage students and boost their English skills.

Volunteers typically work 5-6 hours a day, 5 days a week, leaving evenings and weekends free to explore the wonders of Peru.
This program is a rewarding and enriching experience, offering volunteers the chance to gain international teaching exposure while making a tangible impact on the lives of local students. You’ll be part of a collaborative learning environment, helping learners to grow their English proficiency and improve their future opportunities.
