Teaching Volunteer Programs
Volunteering Solutions offers a wide variety of teaching placements wherein volunteers can work in primary as well as secondary school placements depending on the suitability and comfort level.In most of the cases, volunteers help in improving the vocabulary as well as spoken English skills of the students. You may also be involved in teaching other subjects such as Computers/IT skills , Maths and Geography to the students depending on the need.
Volunteers working in the Teaching Volunteer Projects need to be open minded , flexible and prepared to face challenges. In some projects, volunteers find themselves teaching in an open air classroom and the need to for creativity and improvisation is paramount.
Whichever placement you teach in, the students to whom you will be teaching are very inquisitive and want to know about yourself and your country.
While volunteering in the teaching placement, volunteers can also assist in extra curricular activities such as sports and games.
You don’t have to be a teacher to volunteer abroad on our English teaching projects. Volunteers just need to have a good command over written and conversational English.We have a wide variety of programs available in Asia, Africa, Middle East and South/Latin America. You can choose to Teach English to Buddhist Monks in Thailand, Volunteer in a school in Ghana or Teach English to students in Ecuador.
Our programs are available throughout the whole year, with flexible start dates and program duration. Volunteers can choose to volunteer for minimum up-to one week to six months.
After you decide to join the teaching project, you are recommended to do fundraising for your project and you can bring some useful materials and supplies which can be very useful for the project.
