India has always been one of the most favored and budget friendly destinations. People from all across the world travel to India to explore the richness of the land, learn about the history and cultural amalgamations, and also to experience the geographical diversities that the country has to offer.

Volunteers who choose to engage themselves in some philanthropic work travel to India with the hope to contribute massively towards the development of the society.

In the past few years, Volunteering Solutions hosted several volunteers from different countries, who came and worked here in various programs – and each of them returned back with a bundle of memories.

Watch the video, and subscribe to our page to keep yourself updated about what the volunteers do on their journey.

VolSol believes in the saying of ‘Atithi Devo Bhava’ (The guest is God) and takes care of every volunteer in all possible ways. From the time a volunteer arrives at the Indira Gandhi International Airport (New Delhi), we arrange for the pickup and the volunteer is taken to the accommodation.

Before the project begins, an orientation is conducted by the efficient staff members who narrate every necessary information regarding the place and the program. Volunteers are told how to reach their program location, which mode of transport should be opted, how much should be paid, what kind of work should be done, etc.

On the first day of work, our coordinator assists the volunteers to reach their placement site.

There are numerous projects in India that are currently undertaken by VolSol, which include Child Care project, Street Children project, Teaching project, Medical volunteering etc. Volunteers can choose their program from an array of options.

While most of the projects involve children, volunteers have a great time working and playing with the innocent little ones. It’s a process of learning and unlearning, sharing knowledge and receiving unconditional love.

Volunteers choosing the ‘Golden Triangle’ program get to spend time with the friendly elephants – washing and playing with them in the open. What a lovely way to enjoy amidst nature!

While participants have to work on the weekdays (Monday – Friday), they choose to explore the places and travel on weekends. India has so much to offer, that one would feel like putting a pause to time.

Usually, visiting the Taj Mahal in Agra; Golden Temple in Amritsar; Red Fort, Qutub Minar, Humayun’s Tomb in Delhi: Tashi Jong Monastery in Palampur are there on everyone’s checklist. Volunteers often choose to travel to parts of Rajasthan as well – to experience the taste of traditional Rajasthani food, and also tap their feet on some folk music!

Traveling to India with VolSol will not only let you get engaged in some good work but also open a lot of doors for you. You will get to meet people from all across the world, make friends for life, and know about other people’s lives and experiences.
Join us to travel abroad for volunteering and have an experience of a lifetime.
